Romans 15:13 reads; May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope. Our purpose, is to bring not just hope to the people in our local community, but a greater hope. In a world filled with chaos and uncertainty, there is a greater hope. Paul wrote, "We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;( 2 Corinthians 4:8-9). How could he write this? He wrote this because he knew of a greater hope. That hope is Jesus Christ. Paul wrote such things because of his relationship with Jesus Christ.
